Celebrating Love and Supporting Care
January 28, 2022 at 10:00 am - February 12, 2022 at 5:00 pm
From January 28 through February 19, the Addison Art Gallery will be donating a portion of every sale to Helping Our Women and Cape Wellness Collaborative. On Saturday., February 19 from 4:30 to 6:00 you are invited to a gathering of artists and friends with music by Sarah Burrill. Jonathan McPhillips, Amy Sanders and Maryalice Eizenberg will have their works-in-progress on display and will be happy to answer any questions.
“Cape Wellness Collaborative is delighted to have the support of the stunning Addison Art Gallery. Art is a component of some of the healing therapies we offer to the many people fighting cancer on the Cape & Islands. Art has the power to transform, inspire, and elevate. I encourage you to indulge in a few quiet moments spent at Addison Art Gallery. Perhaps you will select a piece that speaks to you, for your home or for a friend, and support the well-being of your community. What a way to show love!” —Abigail Field, Executive Director, Cape Wellness Collaborative
“We are so grateful to Addison Art Gallery, their collectors and so many businesses and individuals supporting our efforts to serve women with chronic health conditions. Financial donations, volunteer hours and contributions to our food and personal care pantry — it all comes together to aid our friends and neighbors.” —Gwynne Guzzeau, Executive Director, Helping our Women
In this time of love, connecting with the Addison Art Gallery is a great way to add beauty to your life while supporting the community.
Cape Wellness Collaborative
Approximately 1,400 people are diagnosed with cancer each year on Cape Cod. Many of them will seek integrative therapies to manage pain and nausea, reduce anxiety and increase well-being during their illness. But most of these therapies – acupuncture, massage, energy work, yoga, nutritional counseling and more — are not covered by insurance. CWC connects people facing cancer directly with local practitioners who provide these therapies, and we cover the cost.
